In January 2025 I presented a project at Azad Gallery in Tehran: five live performances over two weeks. Each performance stood on its own, but together they formed a series held together by a single idea — “energy” as a tool. Through the interplay of energy, materials and movement, the performances set out to shape the atmosphere of the space and to draw the audience into an active, responsive exchange.

The backbone of the third piece was a single sentence, repeated 37 times alongside 37 glasses of milk: “And I never forgot from which golden hive that abundance of honey was drawn, in a land where mythical prophets had nourished us, sip by sip, with milk.”
