Privacy Policy

Last updated: 25 July 2026

This website is the portfolio of Parsa Kamehkhosh, a performance artist based in Helsinki, Finland. It exists to show artistic work. It does not sell anything, does not run advertising, and does not build profiles of the people who visit it.

Who is responsible

Parsa Kamehkhosh, Helsinki, Finland, is the controller of any personal data processed through this website.

For any question about this policy, or to exercise any of the rights described below, write to studio(a)parsa-kamehkhosh.com.

What this site does not collect

To be clear about what is not happening here:

  • There are no comments. Commenting is disabled site-wide.
  • There are no contact forms. Nothing on this site asks you to type in personal details.
  • You cannot register an account, and visitor accounts are not created.
  • No newsletter or mailing list is operated from this site.
  • No advertising, remarketing or cross-site tracking is used.

Server logs

The site is hosted in Germany by Uberspace (uberspace.de). Like any web server, it records each request in an access log: the page requested, the time, the response, the referring page and the browser identification string. IP addresses are shortened before they are written to these logs, so they do not identify individual visitors.

These logs exist to keep the site running and secure — diagnosing errors and identifying automated attacks. The legal basis is legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). They are rotated and deleted automatically after a short period.

Statistics, only if you agree

This site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which works people look at. It only runs if you press “Accept” on the cookie banner. If you decline, or simply ignore the banner, no analytics code is loaded and nothing is sent to Google.

When it is enabled, it is configured to collect as little as possible:

  • IP addresses are anonymised.
  • Google Signals is switched off, so your visit is not linked to a Google account.
  • Advertising and personalisation features are switched off.

The provider is Google Ireland Limited. This may involve transferring data outside the EU, under the safeguards Google publishes for its services. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.

Cookies

  • cookie_notice_accepted — remembers whether you accepted or declined. Set as soon as you answer the banner, and kept for one month. Without it you would be asked on every page.
  • _ga and _ga_QGJB89G1NQ — Google Analytics. Only set if you accept. They distinguish one visitor from another so that visits are not double-counted.

No other cookies are set by this site.

Changing your mind

You can withdraw your consent at any time using this button. Withdrawing stops any further analytics collection immediately, and you will be asked again on your next visit.

Revoke consent

You can also delete this site’s cookies through your browser settings, which resets the choice entirely.

Fonts and embedded content

The typefaces used here are served from this site’s own server, not from Google Fonts. Loading a page therefore does not disclose your IP address to a font provider.

Pages may contain images or embedded video. Where video is embedded from another platform, that platform may set its own cookies once you play it, under its own privacy policy.

Who else processes data

  • Uberspace (Germany) — hosting and server logs.
  • Google Ireland Limited — analytics, only with your consent.
  • Google Drive — encrypted-in-transit backups of the site’s content and database, held so the site can be restored after a failure.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may request access to the personal data held about you, correction of it, its erasure, or restriction of its processing. You may object to processing based on legitimate interest, and request a copy of data you provided in a portable form.

In practice this site holds very little that could identify you: shortened server-log entries, and — only if you consented — analytics data held by Google. Requests can be sent to studio(a)parsa-kamehkhosh.com.

If you believe your data has been handled improperly, you may lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your country of residence. In Finland this is the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).

Changes

If how this site handles data changes, this page will be updated and the date at the top revised.
