The Idea of making the “Buffoon” was primarily about ridiculing this chair by getting all it had and leaving it naked and broken. But the process of carving the wooden structure, made me understand that I can take this as an opportunity to discover its potential aesthetics. Therefore I forgot about my grudge and experimented variety of complex formal compositions and joints with the wooden part. Through this process, the original chair with almost fifteen kilograms weight turned to a very light piece with less than two kilograms weight. It was like extracting the spirit of a thing and making it ready for a new life.
